As I listen to Schoolboy Q album it makes me think about the first Friday movie. Smokey and Craig sitting around on the porch getting fried and getting into everything from chasing girls, trips to the corner store, breaking and entering, neighborhood fights, gunfights and eventually sitting in the living room thinking about how Saturday will play out. Schoolboy weaves in and out of his neighborhood while experimenting with everything from weed, prescription pills ans lean as he let's you know how it is growing up in California.
